Her background is in consumer journalism. Most recently, she was invited by EMAP to develop the initial health and beauty creative concepts for UK Grazia magazine. She stayed on to launch and develop the glossy weekly title - voted Media Icon of the Age - with a team including UK Vogue's Beauty Director, Nicola Moulton; and Suzanne Sykes, Creative Director, US Marie Claire. Prior to Grazia, Amanda was Health and Beauty Editor for the Mirror newspaper group and she has worked on a number of magazines and newspapers including Marie Claire; London Evening Standard; and The Daily Mail. Amanda won a UK Government Scholarship to study for a postgraduate Masters-level Diploma in Journalism at Cardiff University after graduating with a BA (Hons) in English Literature from York University.
